Single-screw extrusion
Review a single-screw extrusion project as a material path, from feed to discharge. The useful question is how the screw, barrel and machine interfaces fit the application—not which diameter looks similar.

Define the job before the geometry
Identify the polymer, material form, additives and final product. Explain whether the request concerns a replacement, a new component or a change to the existing process. Keep observed results separate from the improvement being requested.
Capture the interfaces that must stay
List the overall envelope, drive connection, barrel bore, head connection and feed opening. Use one drawing revision and one unit system. Mark missing dimensions instead of silently borrowing them from a neighbouring model.
Turn the requirement into a review pack
Prepare a drawing, machine reference, quantity and inspection priorities. For an existing assembly, include photographs and clearly identified measurement positions. This gives a technical discussion a common starting point.
